Promoting participation of under-represented families in research

Aug 17, 2023

This project, entitled 'Engaging Low-Income Families in Education Research: An Interdisciplinary Exploratory Study,' is funded by the Institute of Communities and Societies at Brunel University London. The project involved researchers from Brunel University London, University College London, the University of Nottingham, and Zhejiang University, China.

The long-term goal is to establish a network platform that connects researchers with schools, NGOs, local authorities, and individual families. The aim is to promote the participation of underrepresented families in education research. We will discuss this initiative at the upcoming meeting.
